Evaluations of carpets and tapestries

All persons who wish to buy, sell, insure, donate or share an inheritance will one day want to know the value of their carpets and tapestries.

Pierre Chevalier, expert to the Appeal court of Versailles and member of the S.F.E.P (the trade union of Professional Experts in Art Objects) and his son Nicolas Chevalier are at the service of private clients, professionals and collectors to undertake an evaluation. Such an evaluation is of particular importance in the case of a fire/flood or a robbery.

The cost of an evaluation represents 4% of the value of the object presented to the expert with a minimum cost of 300 € inclusive of VAT: travel expenses might be involved according to the geographic location of the object to be assessed.
